Cecilio Waterman
Cecilio Alfonso Waterman Ruiz (born 13 April 1991) is a Panamanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Everton and the Panama national team. Club career Waterman made his professional debut playing with Sporting San Miguelito on 26 September 2010 against Atlético Chiriquí. In mid 2011 he was transferred to Uruguayan side Centro Atlético Fénix, for whom he scored his first goal in May 2012 against Racing. International career Waterman was part of the Panama U-20 squad for the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship where he scored four goals helping his country qualify to the Youth World Cup in Colombia. He made his senior debut for Panama in a December 2010 friendly match against Honduras and has, as of 15 August 2015, earned a total of 7 caps, scoring no goals. Panama City ( es, Ciudad de Panamá, links=no; ), also known as Panama (or Panamá in Spanish), is the capital and largest city of Panama. 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship
The 2011 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship was expanded to 12 teams beginning in 2011. The tournament determined the four CONCACAF teams that participated at the 2011 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in Colombia. In addition, the top three finishers from Central America or the Caribbean, in addition to hosts Mexico, qualified to participate at the 2011 Pan American Games. The Executive Committee approved that for men's U-20 championships all three North American teams again qualified automatically for the finals. Central America received four berths, and the Caribbean received five. The new allocations give Central America one more berth than it had in 2009 and the Caribbean three more. On 1 September 2010 CONCACAF announced Guatemala as host of the championship, played from 3–17 April. Estadio Olímpico Metropolitano is a multi-purpose stadium in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. It is currently used mostly for football matches and also has facilities for athletics. It has a capacity of 37,325. History It was built in 1997 for the sixth edition of the Central American Games held there. This stadium was built by Jerónimo Sandoval, mostly known by "Chombo Sandoval", he was the organizer of the 1997 Central American Olympic Games in San Pedro Sula, which caused many controversies. Estadio Nacional de Panama, also called the Rod Carew National Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Panama City, Panama. The stadium has a capacity of 27,000 and was built in 1999. It is currently used mostly for baseball matches from the national league, and Panama national baseball team matches. It has also hosted many international baseball competitions as well as many concerts and different types of events. 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup
The 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup was the 12th CONCACAF Gold Cup competition and the 22nd CONCACAF regional championship overall in CONCACAF's fifty years of existence. The United States was the host nation. The competition began on 7 July 2013 at the Rose Bowl, and ended with the final on 28 July 2013 at Soldier Field, with the United States defeating Panama 1–0. In this edition of the Gold Cup, Mexico participated with an alternative squad due to the main players competing at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup prior to the Gold Cup. Despite not playing with their full squad, they successfully reached the semi-finals where they lost to eventual runners-up Panama with a score of 1–2. Julio César Dely Valdés (born March 12, 1967) is a Panamanian former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is a twin brother of Jorge Dely Valdés and younger brother of Armando Dely Valdés. Club career Born in Colón, Dely Valdés began his professional career in 1987 in Argentina with Deportivo Paraguayo of Argentina (after trying up to get in the Argentinos Juniors' Squad), where he scored 28 goals. He then moved to Club Nacional de Football in Uruguay, where he scored more than 100 goals and won the Uruguayan Championship in 1992. Honduras National Football Team
The Honduras national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Honduras) represents Honduras in men's international football. The team is governed by the Federación Nacional Autónoma de Fútbol de Honduras (FENAFUTH). They are nicknamed ''Los Catrachos'', ''La Bicolor,'' or ''La H''.
