Cecil Pryor
Cecil Lemuel Pryor, Jr. (October 7, 1947 – September 13, 2005) was an American football player. He played professional football for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) in 1973 and for the Memphis Grizzlies of the World Football League (WFL) from 1974 to 1975. He played college football at the University of Michigan from 1967 to 1969. Early years & Education Cecil Pryor was born in Nueces County, Texas, in 1947, the son of Cecil L. Pryor, Sr., and Fannie McCuller. He was the eldest of four children including his brother, Rundy Pryor and his two sisters, Leah Pryor and Barbara Pryor (Tatum). He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, and attended King High School. 1970 NFL Season
The 1970 NFL season was the 51st regular season of the National Football League, and the first one after the consummation of the AFL–NFL merger. The 1970 National Football League Draft was the 35th National Football League Draft and the first of the league's modern era, following the merger of the National Football League with the American Football League. Jim Brandstatter
James Patrick Brandstatter (born ) is an American sports announcer. He was the radio play-by-play announcer for the Michigan Wolverines football team. He held the position of color commentator for the Detroit Lions for 31 years until the end of the 2017 season. Brandstatter is also a sports television show host and former radio show host; both TV and radio shows about Michigan football. He played college football for the Wolverines, from 1969 to 1972, where he was a standout offensive tackle. Brandstatter has written two non-fiction books about UM experiences, both of which were best-sellers in the sports category. Rex Kern
Rex William Kern (born May 28, 1949) is a former American football player. He played professional football in the National Football League at defensive back for the Baltimore Colts and Buffalo Bills. In college, Kern was the quarterback for the Ohio State Buckeyes from 1968 to 1970; the Buckeyes went undefeated in 1968 and were national champions. Kern was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
