Cecil (British Band)
Cecil were an English rock band from Liverpool. They released two albums, ''Bombar Diddlah'' (1996) and ''Subtitles'' (1998). They gained a small degree of commercial success in the UK charts, with their singles, "Hostage in a Frock" (1997) and "The Most Tiring Day" (1998). History Formation The band formed in Liverpool in 1993. The members were Ste Williams (vocals), Patrick Harrison (Guitar), Ally Lambert (drums), Anthony Hughes (guitar and keyboards), and Jay Bennett ( bass). First concert The band took part in a "Battle of the Bands" sponsored by the Liverpool Echo. The band signed a management contract with Raymond Coffer, then later signed with the record label Parlophone (EMI). They released their first single "No Excuses" with Parlophone in October 1995, which reached #89 in the UK singles chart. Feeder (band)
Feeder are a Welsh rock band formed in Newport in 1994. They have released 11 studio albums, 12 compilations, four EPs and 43 singles, spending a combined total of 184 weeks on the singles and albums charts as of 2019, while accumulating 25 top 75 singles between 1997 and 2012. At their peak of commercial success, Feeder won two Kerrang! Awards in 2001 and 2003; they were inducted into their Hall of Fame in August 2019 for “Distinguished Services to Rock”. Feeder are one of the Britpop era bands to have continued success long after their peak. Their 2019 album '' Tallulah'' debuted at number four, more than two decades after the group formed, and 20 years after their first top 10 album ''Yesterday Went Too Soon''. Mansun
Mansun were an English alternative rock band, formed in Chester in 1995. The band comprised vocalist/rhythm guitarist Paul Draper, bassist Stove King, lead guitarist/backing vocalist Dominic Chad, and drummer Andie Rathbone. It was announced in May 2003 that the band had split up earlier that year, whilst in the process of recording their fourth album, and some of their archival recording of the album later released on their final album, ''Kleptomania'' (2004).
