Sébastien Debs, better known as Ceb, is a French former professional ''Dota 2'' player. He was a member of OG, the team that won the multi-million dollar International 2018 and 2019 tournaments, as well as the team's coach when they won four Dota Major Championships. Career Sébastien Debs' professional ''Dota 2'' career started with Team Shakira in 2011. The team first gained notability after placing 4th in Dreamhack Winter 2011. He left the organisation and decided to join a rehash of Mortal Teamwork led by Troels "Synderen" Nielsen in 2012. The Kiev Major was a professional ''Dota 2'' esport tournament that was held in April 2017 at the National Palace of Arts in Kyiv, Ukraine. The tournament featured eight directly invited teams, as well as eight qualified teams from six different worldwide regions. The open qualifiers tournament was held on March 6–9, 2017, followed by the regional qualifiers held on March 10–13, 2017. For the first time in an officially sponsored tournament, Valve, the game's developer and tournament administrator, split the previously single Americas region into North and South America, as well as creating the CIS region out of Europe. ''Dota 2'' is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game by Valve. The game is a sequel to ''Defense of the Ancients'' (''DotA''), a community-created mod for Blizzard Entertainment's '' Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.'' ''Dota 2'' is played in matches between two teams of five players, with each team occupying and defending their own separate base on the map. Each of the ten players independently controls a powerful character known as a "hero" that all have unique abilities and differing styles of play. The International 2018 (TI8) was the eighth iteration of The International, an annual ''Dota 2'' world championship esports tournament. Hosted by Valve, the game's developer, TI8 followed a year-long series of tournaments awarding qualifying points, known as the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC), with the top eight ranking teams being directly invited to the tournament. In addition, ten more teams earned invites through qualifiers that were held in June 2018, with the group stage and main event played at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver in August. The Boston Major was a professional ''Dota 2'' esports tournament that took place in Boston in the United States. The main event was played live at the Wang Theatre from December 7–10, 2016. Like other tournaments in the ''Dota 2'' Major Championship series, the event featured 16 teams from around the world and had a $3,000,000 prize pool, with the victor winning $1,000,000.
