Caín And Abel (telenovela)
Caín y Abel is an Argentine telenovela, produced by Telefe. Lead actors are Joaquín Furriel, Fabián Vena, Julieta Cardinali, Vanesa González, Federico D'Elía, Luis Machín, Virginia Lago and Luis Brandoni. The plot involves two brothers that hate each other, but it's unrelated to the Cain and Abel biblical story beyond that: they work together at a real estate firm, and fight for the love of a woman. Development The telenovela was made to compete against the successful '' Showmatch'' of competitor channel 13. The soundtrack is "Sin Fin", the first song written by Andrés Calamaro specifically for a TV series. It is directed by Miguel Colom, who had worked at Vidas Robadas. Vidas Robadas (Spanish for "Stolen Lives", but officially translated as ''Taking lifes'') is a dramatic telenovela that aired on Telefe since 3 March 2008 to October 29 of that year, with a final broadcast performed at the Opera Theater, and its 134 episodes averaged about 16.0 rtg. It was directed by Miguel Colom. The story unfolds in the context of abduction of persons for forced prostitution, and draws parallels with the case of Marita Verón. Susana Trimarco herself, mother of Marita Veron, worked with the scriptwriters Marcelo Camaño and Guillermo Salmerón. The story revolves around Juliana Miguez, a girl from Rio Manso, fictional town in the Province of Buenos Aires, who is kidnapped by a network of human trafficking. Joaquín Alejandro Furriel (born August 26, 1974) is an Argentine actor. Biography Joaquín Furriel was born on August 26, 1974, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but he grew up in Adrogué, Gran Buenos Aires. Adalberto Luis Brandoni (born 18 April 1940) is an Argentine actor and politician. Biography Brandoni was born in Dock Sud, a port community east of Avellaneda.
