Cavese 1919 S.r.l., commonly known as just Cavese, is an Italian football club based in Cava de' Tirreni, Campania, that currently plays in . The first city club was founded in 1919 as Unione Sportiva Cavese. It was refounded as Pro Cavese in 1974. In 2012, the club, known as S.S. Cavese 1919 S.r.l. at that time, merged with another local side "U.S.D. Pro Cavese 1394", but retained the "Cavese 1919" brand. The club was most recently in Serie B in 1984. 2018–19 Serie C
The 2018–19 Serie C was the fifth season of the unified Serie C division, the third tier of the Italian football league system. Teams The league originally featured 60 teams. However, it saw the bankruptcy and subsequent withdrawal of S.S. Fidelis Andria 1928, Andria, A.C. Mestre, Mestre, A.C. Reggiana 1919, Reggiana and Vicenza Calcio, Vicenza. To fill the vacancies in Serie B, Novara Calcio, Novara, Calcio Catania, Catania and Robur Siena, Siena became the repechage candidates from Serie C, to the objection of Pro Vercelli and Ternana Calcio, Ternana. However, on 10 August Lega B announced that a 19-team calendar would be commissioned for the 2018–19 and no repechage would take place. Emanuele Troise
Emanuele Troise (born 10 February 1979) is an Italian football coach and a former player. He is the head coach of Cavese. Playing career A defender, Troise started his professional career with Napoli, making his first team debut during the club's successful 1999–2000 Serie B campaign, and then making his Serie A debut the following season. He successively played at Serie A level with Bologna for a single season before moving down the leagues, also playing a stint at Super League Greece club Panthrakikos between 2008 and 2010. Coaching career In 2012, Troise joined his former teammate Fabio Pecchia as his assistant at Latina. In 2014 he moved back to his former team Bologna as a technical collaborator, a role he left a year later to join Casertana as a youth coach. 2010–11 Lega Pro Prima Divisione
The 2010–11 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season was the thirty-third football league season of Italian Lega Pro Prima Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the third since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It will be divided into two phases: the regular season, and the playoff phase. The league will also be composed of 36 teams divided into two divisions of 18 teams each, whose teams will be divided geographically. Teams will play only other teams in their own division, once at home and once away for a total of 34 matches each. Teams finishing first in the regular season, plus one team winning the playoff round from each division will be promoted to Serie B; teams finishing last in the regular season, plus two relegation playoff losers from each division will be relegated to Lega Pro Seconda Divisione. Virgilio Levratto
Virgilio Felice Levratto (; 26 October 1904 – 18 September 1968) was an Italian association football player and later a coach, who played as a striker. Club career Levratto was born in Carcare. Throughout his club career, he played for F.C. Vado (where he won his first Coppa Italia title in 1922, scoring a decisive goal in the final) and also played for Hellas Verona F.C., Genoa C.F.C. (appearing in 148 matches and scoring 84 goals), Inter Milan in 1932, and S.S. Lazio in 1934. He later played with Savona in Serie C, and closed his career in Serie D with Cavese. International career With the Italian national football team, Levratto obtained 28 international caps, scoring 11 goals. The 2013–14 Serie D was the sixty-sixth edition of the top level Italian non-professional football championship. It represented the fifth tier in the Italian football league system. Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. Usually it consisted of 36 teams, but in the 2011–12 season, there were 41 teams divided geographically into two divisions of 20 and 21. Group A covered northern and north-central Italy, Group B south-central and southern Italy. Until the 2007–08 season, the league was known as Serie C2.
