Caves (band)
Caves are an English melodic punk band from Bristol. The lineup is based around the core duo of Lou Hanman (vocals/guitarist) and Jonathan Minto (bass/vocals). They have released albums on Specialist Subject Records, Yo-Yo Records, and Dead Broke Records. History Caves was formed by Lou Hanman (previously of Flamingo 50) after moving from Liverpool to Bristol, where Hanman met original drummer Dave Brent. After an initial lineup with Dave Brent's house mate Michael on bass, Jonathan Minto joined in 2010. They played Florida Punk festival The Fest for the first time in 2010 (the first of three years in a row). The same year they released their debut self-titled EP, and a four-way split 10" with Calvinball, Pure Graft, and Big City Plan. They recorded their debut album, ''Homeward Bound'', in the beginning of 2011 and it was released in July of that year. RVIVR
RVIVR is an American punk rock band from Olympia, Washington. The band tours frequently and their shows are characterised by energetic performances as well as defense of gender equality. They have released their studio albums and EPs as free downloads on Rumbletowne Records' website. History After the dissolution of New York band Latterman in 2007, Mattie Jo Canino moved to Olympia, Washington and with Erica Freas (vocals, guitar), Kevin Rainsberry (drums), and Nell Tallos (bass) formed RVIVR. Canino had felt that Latterman's political lyrics were being ignored by largely male audiences only interested in moshing. For RVIVR; Canino and Freas, in both songwriting and interviews, vocally ensure the message of gender and sociopolitical equality is at the heart of what the band does. Camp Cope
Camp Cope are an Australian alternative rock trio formed in 2015 in Melbourne, Victoria. The group consists of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Georgia "Georgia Maq" McDonald, bassist Kelly-Dawn Hellmrich, and drummer Sarah "Thomo" Thompson. Camp Cope are signed with independent Melbourne label Poison City Records - where Thompson also works, and independent Boston label Run for Cover Records distributes their releases in North America and Europe. Olympia, Washington
Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat and largest city of Thurston County. It is southwest of the state's most populous city, Seattle, and is a cultural center of the southern Puget Sound region. Katie Ellen
Katie Ellen are an American punk band based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were formed in 2015 by Anika Pyle and Dan Frelly after the dissolution of their previous band Chumped. They have released a 7" single, an EP and an album, ''Cowgirl Blues'' in 2017, all on Lauren Records. History After Chumped parted ways at the end of 2015, Anika Pyle and Dan Frelly formed the initial two-piece incarnation of Katie Ellen. Pyle named the band after the broadcasting name of her great grandmother - a journalist and radio host on KTLN in Colorado who was sued by her station after continuing to use the name in other aspects of her career. While Chumped leant toward pop punk in their style, Pyle has said that for Katie Ellen she was looking more to '60s girl groups, Patsy Cline, and Amy Winehouse for influence.
