Cavendish Road State High School
Cavendish Road State High School is a co-educational, state secondary school, located at 695 Cavendish Road, Holland Park, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Established in 1952, Cavendish Road State High School was the second state high school to be built in the suburbs of Brisbane. The school is a short distance from the Brisbane CBD. The school motto, ''Nil sine pulvere, nil praeter optima'', translates from Latin as "Nothing without effort, nothing but the best". As part of these "Excellence Programs" the school has developed partnerships with the University of Queensland, Griffith University and the Queensland University of Technology, which allow eligible students to exit Year 12 with credit, fee free, towards a university degree. Loretta Harrop
Loretta "Loz" Harrop (born July 17, 1975, in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian triathlete. As a teenager she attended Cavendish Road State High School along with her siblings and as of 2007 has a house named after her. Harrop house which will go by the colour red. Harrop competed at the first Olympic triathlon at the 2000 Summer Olympics. She placed fifth with a total time of 2:01:42.82. Her split times were 19:37.98 for the swim, 1:05:40.70 for the cycling, and 0:36:24.14 for the run. Four years later, Harrop competed in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the south–eastern Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne East, that plays in the A-League, the top level of Australian soccer, under licence from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Dario Vidošić ( ; ; (born 8 April 1987) is a former Australian footballer and current coach who is the interim manager of A-League Women club Melbourne City FC Women. Club career Early life Vidošić was born on 8 April 1987 in Osijek to Croatian parents, mother Jasna and father Rado Vidošić. He moved with his parents from Croatia to Australia in 1988 when his father received an offer to play for the Queensland Lions. Bangarra Dance Theatre is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance company focused on contemporary dance. It was founded by African American dancer and choreographer Carole Y. Stephen George Page (born 1965) is an Australian choreographer, film director and former dancer. He is the current artistic director of the Bangarra Dance Theatre, an Indigenous Australian dance company. Page is descended from the Nunukul people and the Munaldjali of the Yugambeh people from southeast Queensland, Australia. In 2015 his directorial debut film, ''Spear'', was shown at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. Career Stephen Page was one of 12 children, raised in the Brisbane suburb of Mt Gravatt. Tahj James Rodney Minniecon is an Indigenous Australian soccer player who most recently played for Davao Aguilas FC in Philippines Football League in 2018. The Supercars Hall of Fame is a collection of individuals and events that recognise the efforts of past champions and prominent figures within the Supercars Championship.
