Cavegirl
''Cavegirl'' is a 2002-03 British TV series created and written by Daniel Peacock. It starred Stacey Cadman, Stephen Marcus and Lucinda Rhodes-Flaherty. It followed the adventures of a teenage cavegirl. Although based in a Stone Age world, there are many references to modern pop culture and in a similar vein to ''The Flintstones'' there are many ancient versions of modern inventions featured. Its theme tune is a cover version of ''Go Wild in the Country'', sung by Stacey Cadman. It was developed by Dan and Producer Georgia Dussaud. Daniel Peacock's production company Two Hats Film and TV eventually produced. It featured many of the same actors that also appeared in Peacock's other productions, such as ''Harry and Cosh'' and ''Billie: Girl from the Future''. Jungle Girl
A jungle girl (so-called, but usually adult woman) is an archetype or stock character, often used in popular fiction, of a female adventurer, superhero or even a damsel in distress living in a jungle or rainforest setting. An alternate depiction is a cave girl. Description Jungle girls are generally depicted as wearing either a scanty animal print (usually leopard) bikini or some type of jungle dress made from fur, leather, or sometimes vegetation. Most are barefoot, while some are shown in primitive shoes. Some are feral children; some come from a wealthy, educated family who grew up in the jungle. Stacey Cadman
Stacey Cadman (born 23 May 1979) is a British actress and television presenter. Biography She was born and educated in the West Midlands (county), West Midlands, England. After leaving John Willmott School in Sutton Coldfield, Stacey studied performing arts and Dance in Birmingham. She followed this with a course in Musical theatre at The Arts Educational Schools in London. She was chosen from hundreds of actresses for the leading role in the BBC TV series ''Cavegirl''. After filming two series in the wilds of South Africa, she was then picked for the role of Poppy Fields in Sky One's series ''Mile High''. Lucinda Rhodes Thakrar (born 16 September 1981, in Romford, London) is a British television and film actress, dancer and singer. She is sometimes credited as Lucinda Rhodes or Lucinda Rhodes Flaherty in her earlier work. She is known for her work in ''Harry and Cosh'', '' Cavegirl'', ''Dream Team'', ''Death Walks'' and ''No Reasons''. Daniel Peacock (born 2 October 1958) is an English actor, director, writer and carer. He has worked with the team of '' The Comic Strip Presents...'' and played "Mental Mickey" in ''Only Fools and Horses''. Early and personal life Peacock was born on 2 October 1958 in Hammersmith, London. He is the son of late actor and composer Trevor Peacock (who played Jim Trott in ''The Vicar of Dibley'') and Iris Jones and the half-brother of actor Harry Peacock (a regular ''Star Stories'' satirist). Stephen Marcus
Stephen Marcus (born Stephen Mark Scott; 18 June 1962) is a British actor, best known for his role as Nick the Greek in the film ''Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels''. Career Marcus became an actor in 1984 after three years of training at Arts Educational Schools in London; he spent the first six months of his career touring throughout London's parks and schools in ''Robin Hood & The Tree Trick'', which was quickly followed by his first film role as Moose in the cult film ''My Beautiful Laundrette''. Brett Goldin
Brett Goldin (21 October 1977 – 16 April 2006) was a South African actor and part of the Crazy Monkey comedy troupe. Goldin was murdered in Cape Town in 2006 alongside friend Richard Bloom, a fashion designer who was a label manager for the Maze clothing company in Cape Town. Early life Goldin was the son of Peter and Denise Goldin and had one sibling, his sister Samantha. He was educated at the King David School in Victory Park, Johannesburg and at Crawford College, Sandton. He was a student of the University of Cape Town Drama Department from 1997 to 2000. The caveman is a stock character representative of primitive humans in the Paleolithic.
