Enrique Gayoso Magalona Jr. (January 22, 1922 – April 7, 1998), popularly known as Pancho Magalona, was a Filipino actor from the 1940s to the 1970s. Early life Born Enrique Gayoso Magalona Jr. in Bacolod, Negros Occidental, he was the son of Enrique B. Magalona Sr., who was then a municipal president of Saravia (now renamed in his honor) and a future Senator. Career Diaz first part in front of the camera was an uncredited role as a Japanese General in ''American Guerrilla in the Philippines'' (1950) directed by Fritz Lang. He appeared in ''The Big Bird Cage'', ''Black Mama White Mama'' and played Satan in Eddie Romero's ''Beast of the Yellow Night''. He appeared in a number of other Filipino horror films in the 70s such as '' Blood Thirst'', ''Beyond Atlantis'', ''Daughters of Satan'' and ''Night of the Cobra Woman''. Erlinda Gaerlan Asturias-Aguilar (June 7, 1927 – May 20, 1992), popularity known as Alicia Vergel, was a Filipina actress noted for her roles as fighting women and amazons and, like Norma Blancaflor, for her heart-shaped face. Early career Vergel's film credits include ''Diwani'' opposite César Ramirez, '' MN'' with Carmen Rosales as her arch-enemy, '' Balisong'' with Ramon Revilla and ''Madame X'' with Gloria Romero as her daughter. Edgar Sinco Romero, (July 7, 1924 – May 28, 2013), commonly known as Eddie Romero, was a Filipino film director, film producer and screenwriter. Early life Romero was born on July 7, 1924. His father was José E. Romero, the first Philippine Ambassador to the Court of St. James's. His mother was Pilar Guzman Sinco, a schoolteacher and the sister of University of the Philippines President Vicente G. Sinco who signed the United Nations Charter in 1945 on behalf of the Philippines. His brother was Jose V. Romero Jr., former Philippine Ambassador to Italy. He studied at Silliman University.
