Sergio Staino
Sergio Staino (born 8 June 1940) is an Italian comics author, satirist and film director. Biography Staino was born at Piancastagnaio, in the province of Siena. After graduating in architecture, he moved to Scandicci. His comics debut was with Bobo, an autobiographical character, published in the magazine ''Linus'' starting from 1979. In the 1980s he collaborated with the newspapers ''Il Messaggero'' and ''L'Unità'', for which he still works. In 1986 he founded the satirical magazine ''Tango''. From 1987 to 1993, he also directed satirical TV shows for Rai 3, such as ''Teletango'' and ''Cielito Lindo''; in this period he also directed two movies, ''Cavalli si nasce'' (1989) and ''Non chiamarmi Omar'' (1992). Delia Boccardo (born 29 January 1948) is an Italian film, television and stage actress. Life and career Born in Genoa, Boccardo spent her childhood and adolescence in Nervi, then studied at a Swiss college, at the Poggio Imperiale girls' school and, for about three years, at a college in Sussex, England. In 1965 she moved to Rome where she attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. Bonvi, pen name of Franco Bonvicini (31 March 1941 – 10 December 1995) was an Italian comic book artist, creator of the comic strips '' Sturmtruppen'' and '' Nick Carter''. Biography Bonvicini was born either in Parma or Modena, in the Emilia Romagna region of Northern Italy. The correct site is unknown, as his mother registered him in both places to obtain twice the amount of war-rationing food stamps. The author hinted at this fact in one of his ''Sturmtruppen'' comic books, where he usually hid autobiographical notes inside the dark humour of the books. After a brief experience in advertising work, he made his debut in the comics world in 1968 for the newspaper ''Paese Sera'' with his most famous strip '' Sturmtruppen''. Roberto Murolo (19 January 1912 – 13 March 2003) was an Italian musician. Career Born in Naples, Italy as the son of poet Ernesto Murolo and Lia Cavalli, Murolo showed a began singing and playing the guitar as a child. Murolo won the Italian high diving championship in 1937, and attributed his remarkable lung capacity to the long practice of water sports.
