''Cavaliers of the Crown'' (Swedish: ''Kronans kavaljerer'') is a 1930 Swedish silent comedy film directed by Gustaf Edgren and starring Fridolf Rhudin, Brita Appelgren and Weyler Hildebrand.Qvist & Von Bagh p.62 It was shot at the Råsunda Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Vilhelm Bryde. Vilhelm Bryde
Vilhelm Bryde (8 April 1888 – 24 April 1974) was a Swedish actor, film producer, and art director. Biography From 1909 to 1911, he was a student at Dramaten. Bryde was an actor at Svenska Teatern in Stockholm (1913-1919). He was director of the Svensk Filmindustri facilities at the Filmstaden (1922-1933). He worked on the 1924 Greta Garbo film '' The Saga of Gosta Berling'', part-designing the forty eight sets constructed for Filmstaden at Råsunda for the production. Olle Hilding (born Hilding Olof Johansson; 19 July 1898 – 9 November 1983) was a Swedish stage and film actor. He appeared in motion pictures between 1923-1982. Biography Hilding Olof Johansson was born and died in the Katarina Parish of Stockholm, Sweden. From 1920–1923 he toured the country with the theater company of Oscar Winge (1884-1951) and made his film debut under the direction of film director, Victor Sjöström (1879–1960) in ''Vem doer'' (1922). During much of the 1930s, Hilding helped author Erik Lindorm (1889-1941), with his book chronicles, most of which featured historical personalities and events as themes.
