Caught By The River
"Caught by the River" is the third single from English rock band Doves' second studio album, '' The Last Broadcast'' (2002). The single was released on 14 October 2002 in the UK and charted at number 29 on the UK Singles Chart. The music video was directed by David Mould. An unknown quantity of the limited CD version (HVN126CDS, with fold-out poster insert) were mispressed and excluded the enhanced video track (even though the video track is listed on the CD sleeve) and contained only the 3 audio tracks. The B-side "Willow's Song" cuts out the intro and runs for 3:58. Doves (band)
Doves are an English indie rock band formed in Manchester. The band is composed of twin brothers Jez Williams (guitar, vocals) and Andy Williams (drums, vocals), and Jimi Goodwin (bass, vocals, guitar). Additionally, the band employs Martin Rebelski, as a touring and session musician on keyboards. The band released four studio albums between 2000 and 2009, two of which reached #1 on the UK album charts. A compilation album, '' The Places Between: The Best of Doves'', was released in April 2010. Doves went on hiatus in 2010. During this time Goodwin released his first solo album, ''Odludek'' (2014), while the Williams brothers regrouped as Black Rivers. In December 2018, Doves announced they were ending their hiatus by performing for the Teenage Cancer Trust at London's Royal Albert Hall on 29 March 2019. Martin Rebelski (born Martin Roman Rebelski, Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, England; sometimes credited as simply Rebelski) is a multi-instrumentalist musician and the keyboardist for Doves, acting as the band's unofficial fourth member. As a composer and recording artist in his own right, Rebelski has also released two instrumental solo albums: ''Thanks for Your Thoughts'' on Heavenly Records in 2003, and ''Stickers on Keys'' on Twisted Nerve Records in 2004. Career Rebelski acts as Doves unofficial fourth member. Rebelski was recommended by a friend of Rob Gretton to play as a session musician for Doves, but soon became the band's touring keyboard player. Robert "Waddy" Wachtel (born May 24, 1947) is an American musician, composer and record producer, most notable for his guitar work. Wachtel has worked as session musician for other artists such as Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Kim Carnes, Randy Newman, Keith Richards, The Rolling Stones (lead guitar on "Saint of Me"), Jon Bon Jovi, James Taylor, Iggy Pop, Warren Zevon, Bryan Ferry, Michael Sweet, Jackson Browne, and Andrew Gold, both in the studio and live. Warren Zevon
Warren William Zevon (; January 24, 1947 – September 7, 2003) was an American rock singer, songwriter, and musician. Zevon's most famous compositions include "Werewolves of London", "Lawyers, Guns and Money", and " Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner". All three songs are featured on his third album, ''Excitable Boy'' (1978), the title track of which is also well-known. ''The Last Broadcast'' is the second studio album by British indie rock band Doves. The album was released by Heavenly Recordings on 29 April 2002, and went straight to number 1 on the UK Albums Chart.
