The Apostolic Catholic Church (ACC) (Filipino: ''Apostolika't Katolikang Simbahan'' or ''Simbahang Apostolika Katolika''; Spanish: ''iglesia católica apostólica'') is an Independent Catholic denomination established in 1992 by John Florentine L. Teruel. The ACC has its origin as a Catholic organisation founded in the 1970s in Hermosa, Bataan. Independent Catholicism is an independent sacramental movement of clergy and laity who self-identify as Catholic (most often as Old Catholic or as Independent Catholic) and form "micro-churches claiming apostolic succession and valid sacraments", in spite of not being affiliated to the historic Catholic churches such as the Roman Catholic and Utrechter Old Catholic churches. Our Saviour New York
Our Saviour New York, at 417 West 57th Street between Ninth and Tenth Avenues in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, was built in 1886-87 and was designed by Francis H. Kimball in the Late Victorian Gothic style for the Catholic Apostolic Church, an English group which believed in an imminent Second Coming. In 1995, with the congregation dwindling, the church was donated to the Lutheran Life's Journey Ministries, which in 1997 rededicated it as the Church for All Nations. On April 26, 2015, the Church for All Nations held its last service. Members of the congregation still worship as All Nations Lutheran Church in a rehearsal studio at 244 West 54th Street. The church itself is now, in 2018, Our Saviour New York and is directed by lead pastor Matt Popovits and Mark Budenholzer. The Venezuelan Catholic Apostolic Church (ICAV - ''Iglesia Católica Apostólica Venezolana'') was a short-lived politically inspired independent Catholic church in Venezuela. It was revived in the twenty-first century after a hiatus of over fifty years and is currently led by Guillermo Pacheco Bornacelli, who serves as Apostolic Administrator of the Apostolic Vicariate of San Juan Bautista. The church was initially created in 1947 by Luis Fernando Castillo Mendez and three church members. Castillo Mendez had previously been expelled from Roman Catholic seminary after only one term and jailed for impersonating a priest. He was never recognized as a Roman Catholic priest.
