Catherine David
Catherine David (born 1954) is a French art historian, curator and museum director. David was the first woman and the first non-German speaker to curate documenta X in Kassel, Germany (21 June – 28 September 1997). David is currently deputy director of the National Museum of Modern Art (Musée National d'Art Moderne) at the Centre Georges Pompidou. She was born and lives in Paris. Education and work David studied Spanish and Portuguese literature, linguistics and art history at the Université de la Sorbonne and the École du Louvre in Paris. From 1981 to 1990 she was a curator at the National Museum of Modern Art (Musée National d'Art Moderne), Centre Pompidou, Paris. Simon Lamunière
Simon Lamunière (born 1961 in Geneva) is a Swiss art curator. After his studies at the School of Visual Arts in Geneva (today HEAD) and a postgraduate course at the Schule für Gestaltung in Basel, Simon Lamunière has received grants for a residence at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris and at the Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart where he produces videos, installations and new media art pieces . As an artist he has participated to solo and group shows from 1987 to 2003 in Paris, New-York, Lisbonne, Frankfuft and in Switzerland. Ferran Barenblit (born 1968, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine museum director. He studied Art History at the Universitat de Barcelona (1991) and Museology at New York University (1995). Hassan Sharif
Hassan Sharif (1 January 1951 – 18 September 2016) was an Emirati artist and prolific writer. He lived and worked in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He is widely regarded as a central figure in contemporary and conceptual art in the region, often known as the father of conceptual art in the Gulf. He founded Al Marijah Art Atelier, and through his extensive work and writings, he inspired the next generation of artists in the United Arab Emirates. Bahman Jalali
Bahman Jalali (1944 – 15 January 2010) was an Iranian photographer who played a significant role in educating a new generation of Iranian photographers. He taught photography at several universities in Iran over a 30-year period. Jalali's work is held in the collections of the British Museum and Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Career Jalali graduated with a degree in Economics from Melli University in Tehran, then started his career as a photographer with ''Tamasha Magazine'' in 1972. In 1974 he joined the Royal Photographic Society in Great Britain.
