Catfish Creek is a U.S. Geological Survey. National Hydrography Dataset high-resolution flowline dataThe National Map, accessed May 13, 2011 tributary of the upper Mississippi River in Dubuque County, Iowa. The governments within the watershed have a say in the managing body of the creek, the Catfish Creek Watershed Management Authority. The authority's goal is to promote education on managing the system and fixing issues like the environment. Geography It rises southwest of Dubuque, just southeast of Peosta. The Middle Fork rises west of Dubuque and flows under and then parallel to U.S. Route 20; the former Illinois Central Railroad, now the Chicago Central and Pacific Railroad has its mainline in it. Swiss Valley Park, maintained by Dubuque County, is along the main fork of the creek, which is a designated trout stream through the park. The Catfish Creek's drainage basin covers about 9,300 acres of land. Within it are parts of Dubuque, Centralia, Peosta, and Asbury. ...

Catfish Creek is a creek in Elgin County, Ontario, Elgin County in southwestern Ontario which empties into the north shore of Lake Erie. Catfish Creek begins in the northwest area of Aylmer and flows in a generally southern direction before flowing into Lake Erie at Port Bruce. It is a significant creek in that it flows through an area of Carolinian forest. Worthy of note is the area just northwest of Port Bruce called the Catfish Creek Slope and Floodplain Forest. "Encompassing 233 hectares, this unique Area of Natural and Scientific Interest contains some of the most endangered habitat in Canada. It lies in the heart of the Carolinian Zone of Southern Ontario and provides mature, deciduous forest cover that is able to support plant and animal life normally found much further south. Lynn River
The Lynn River is a fresh water river located in Norfolk County in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. It empties into Lake Erie at Port Dover. Summary The Lynn Valley Trail follows the river between Port Dover and the town of Simcoe. It is possible to kayak down the Lynn River to the outskirts of Port Dover. The watershed stretches throughout Norfolk County and is one of few cold water tributaries feeding into the Eastern Lake Erie basin. A small waterfall can be found on the Port Dover side of the Lynn River. However, the waterfall is surrounded by private property; making roadside viewing the only safe and legal way to view the waterfall. Stately homes can be found along the Lynn River; some with prices fetching up to nearly $3,000,000 on the open real estate market.
