Cataracs
The Cataracs were an American hip hop record production project and duo formed in Berkeley, California, United States, consisting of David Benjamin Singer-Vine (born March 9, 1988) and Niles Hollowell-Dhar (born October 6, 1988). The duo started out as an independent group, during their years at Berkeley High School. The two were first signed to the label Indie-Pop. Singer-Vine left the group in August 2012 with Hollowell-Dhar continuing on with the name The Cataracs by himself. Hollowell-Dhar also released materials starting in 2014, under the name of KSHMR. Biography Early days The duo met in their second year attending Berkeley High School. Singer-Vine was featured in a rap CD that was being passed around campus. When Hollowell-Dhar eventually heard the CD, he subsequently created a response. However, the "diss" response brought the two together and they soon became friends. Dev (singer)
Devin Star Tailes (born July 2, 1989), known professionally as Dev (sometimes stylized as DEV or dEV), is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, model and radio host. She was discovered by the Cataracs and record label Indie-Pop via Myspace after Dev's friend posted a video of her singing. Dev's song " Booty Bounce" was sampled in Far East Movement's hit single "Like a G6", which reached number one in the US and sold over four million downloads in the country. Dev was signed to Universal Republic in October 2010 and released her debut single, "Bass Down Low", on November 16, 2010, which reached the top 10 in the United Kingdom. Her debut album, ''The Night the Sun Came Up'', was released on March 27, 2012. Niles Hollowell-Dhar (born October 6, 1988), known professionally as Kshmr (pronounced "Kashmir" and stylized in all caps), is an American songwriter, DJ, music producer, and musician. He was ranked 23rd on ''DJ Mag''s 2015 Top 100 DJs poll and was awarded highest new entry for the year. In the same poll he elevated to 12th in 2016 and 2017, and again in 2020. He was ranked 11th in the same poll in 2021; and in 2022 in same poll he ranked 12. In July 2017, he launched Dharma Worldwide, a sublabel of Spinnin' Records. Kshmr performed live at many music festivals like Coachella, Tomorrowland, EDC, Ultra and Sunburn. Early life Hollowell-Dhar was born in Berkeley, California. His father is a Kashmiri Hindu who emigrated from India, while his mother is American. He got his stage name from the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, where his paternal side hails from. New Boyz
New Boyz was a hip-hop duo that consisted of rappers Earl "Ben J" Benjamin and Dominic "Legacy" Thomas. They debuted in the spring of 2009 with their viral hit "You're a Jerk" taken from their 2009 debut studio album '' Skinny Jeanz and a Mic''. The song peaked in the top thirty of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and it was the first song to bring the jerkin' style to the national forefront. A second single, " Tie Me Down" featuring Ray J, was also successful and peaked in the top thirty in Early 2010. In May 2011, their second and final studio album, '' Too Cool to Care'', was released. The Pack (group)
The Pack was a hip hop group formed in Berkeley, California in 2004. The group consisted of Lil B (Brandon McCartney), Young L (Lloyd Omadhebo), Stunnaman (Keith Jenkins), and Lil Uno (Damonte Johnson). They all recorded together for over a year at Young L's home studio where they released their first two mixtapes '' Wolfpack Muzik Vol. 1'' and '' Wolfpack Muzik Vol. 2''. The Pack expanded their fanbase and eventually got signed to a major label, when Too Short signed The Pack to his Jive Records-distributed label Up All Nite Records. The Pack is usually known for their skateboard raps and the sexually explicit content of many of their songs. The group is best known for the track "Vans". Terror Jr is an American pop duo formed in 2016 founded by former The Cataracs band member David "Campa" Benjamin Singer-Vine, Lisa Vitale, and Felix Snow, who left the group in late 2017. Their single "Come First" peaked at number 10 on the '' Billboard'' Spotify Velocity chart, number 6 on the '' Billboard'' Hot Dance/Electronic songs chart, number 54 in the Czech Republic, and number 59 in Slovakia. Background Members Felix Snow and David "Campa" Benjamin Singer-Vine met through Twitter in 2014 and first worked together on a project called ''Momma'', releasing a 4 track EP. They reconnected the following year working with singer Kiiara on her single "Gold". In 2016, they started Terror Jr as a "social experiment", with Singer-Vine adding "It's a puzzle, and we're gonna give out pieces with each song." The group released their debut

Martin Laurent Picandet (; born 22 September 1976), better known by his stage name Martin Solveig (), is a French DJ, singer, songwriter and record producer.
