"Catalysts" is the seventh episode of the animated cartoon, animated television series ''The Spectacular Spider-Man (TV series), The Spectacular Spider-Man'', which is based on the comic book character Spider-Man, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The episode sees Spider-Man trying to stop the psychotic supervillain Green Goblin from bombing a Party#Dinner party, dinner party filled with high-class New York citizens on the night of his school's big Fall Formal. Written by Andrew Robinson and directed by the series' co-developer Victor Cook, "Catalysts" marked the first appearance of Green Goblin in the series. ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'' is an American superhero animated television series based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, developed for television by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook. Oscorp (sometimes stylized as OsCorp), also known as Oscorp Industries, is a fictional multibillion-dollar multinational corporation appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics, predominantly in stories about Spider-Man. The company was founded by Norman Osborn and has appeared in numerous media adaptations. According to Forbes, highlighting the 25 largest fictional companies, it had an estimated sales of $3.1 billion, ranking it at number 23. Psychosis
Psychosis is a condition of the mind that results in difficulties determining what is real and what is not real. Symptoms may include delusions and hallucinations, among other features. Additional symptoms are incoherent speech and behavior that is inappropriate for a given situation.
