Casualty (series 15)
The fifteenth series of the British medical drama television series ''Casualty'' commenced airing in the United Kingdom on BBC One on 16 September 2000 and finished on 28 April 2001. It saw another increase, this time to 36 episodes, including two hour-long self-contained 'specials', "Sympathy for the Devil" (episode 8) and "Something from the Heart" (episode 23), which were shown in addition to the regular Saturday night episodes. BBC One
BBC One is a British free-to-air public broadcast television network owned and operated by the BBC. It is the corporation's flagship network and is known for broadcasting mainstream programming, which includes BBC News television bulletins, primetime drama and entertainment, and live BBC Sport events. It was launched on 2 November 1936 as the BBC Television Service and was the world's first regular television service with a high level of image resolution. Kwame Kwei-Armah
Kwame Kwei-Armah (born Ian Roberts; 24 March 1967 in Hillingdon, London) is a British actor, playwright, director, singer and broadcaster. He is best known for playing paramedic Finlay Newton in the BBC medical drama ''Casualty'' from 1999 until 2004. In 2005 he became the second black Briton to have a play staged in the West End of London. (In 1990, Ray Harrison Graham's Fringe First award-winning play ''Gary'' played at the Arts Theatre.) Kwei-Armah's award-winning piece '' Elmina's Kitchen'' transferred to the Garrick Theatre in 2005. ''Casualty'' is a British medical drama television series that premiered on 6 September 1986 on BBC1. The series was created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin. It is set in the fictional Holby City Hospital, in the equally fictitious city of Holby, and features occasional crossovers of characters and plots with spin-off show ''Holby City''. ''Casualty'' follows the professional and personal lives of the doctors, nurses, paramedics, hospital management and patients at Holby General. Janet Dibley (born 13 December 1958) is an English actress. She is known for her roles as Elaine Walker in the 1980s sitcom ''The Two of Us'', Lorna Cartwright in the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', and Elaine Cassidy in the BBC soap opera '' Doctors''. Rebecca Wheatley
Rebecca Catherine Anne Wheatley (born 25 April 1965) is a British actress and musician. Wheatley grew up in Teddington, Middlesex, where she went to St Catherine's convent school, before gaining her BA in English literature from the University of Wales, Lampeter. Charlie Fairhead
Charlie Fairhead, played by Derek Thompson, is a fictional character from the BBC British medical drama ''Casualty''. He is the longest-serving character, having played the role of Charlie for over 36 years, and the only remaining original character to have appeared continuously since the first episode was broadcast on 6 September 1986. Derek Thompson chose to take a nine-month break from the show in early 2004. Charlie left the show in series 18 on 17 July 2004 and after five months, returned on 1 January 2005 in series 19. Lisa "Duffy" Duffin is a fictional character from the BBC medical drama ''Casualty'', played by Cathy Shipton. Duffy was created by Jeremy Brock and Paul Unwin as one of the serial's ten original characters. Shipton received her audition just as she was thinking of giving up her acting career.
