Casino (TV-program)
''Casino'' is a Norwegian game show hosted by Hallvard Flatland. It aired on TVNorge running from 1989 to 1996. Casino on TVNorge Hallvard Flatland presented the program from 1989 to 1993. Flatland was accompanied by former model , who awarded prizes. Dressing elegantly, smiling, hugging, but never saying anything, she gave rise to the concept "Tause Birgitte" (''Silent Birgitte''). Flatland's successor as presenter was Leif Erik Forberg. From 1993 the female hostess varied frequently, picked "from the street". Hostesses included later musician Lene Nystrøm and actress Janne Formoe. TV3 (Norway)
TV3 Norway is a commercial television channel targeting Norway owned by Viaplay Group. It was separated from the earlier Pan-Scandinavian version in 1990. Unlike its main rivals, NRK, TV 2 and TVNorge, the channel does not broadcast from Norway but from West Drayton, Middlesex in the United Kingdom, even if the channel is almost solely aimed at Norwegian viewers. This excludes the channel from the strict rules in Norway that apply to advertising (ban on advertisements aimed at children or interrupting programs). Also unlike the other main channels, it wasn't available on analogue terrestrial, having to rely on satellite and cable television for its distribution. With the launch of digital terrestrial television in October 2007, the channel became available terrestrially. On 3 August 2009 TV3 launched a new visual identity and a new logo. TVNorge Original Programming
TVNorge (literally "TVNorway"; originally abbreviated TVN, now just abbreviated N in the logos) is a Norwegian television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery EMEA. History TVNorge went on the air on 5 December 1988 and was the first advertising-supported Norwegian channel. The channel was started with 50 000 NOK. The first broadcast was a live variety show from Oslo Cabaret with Swedish singer Lill-Babs and Norwegian pop group Tomboy as musical guests. Originally TVNorge broadcast via satellite and cable, later they have affiliated several local television broadcasters. The local broadcasters generally were allowed the 17.30-18.30 timeslot for local programming, along with a second slot from 19.30-20.30. The rest of the time was assigned to TVNorge's own schedule. The channel was styled as TVN until 1995, following a rebrand that year, it became TVNorge. Janne Formoe
Janne is a common given name in the Nordic countries. In Denmark, Norway and Estonia it is considered a feminine name, while in Sweden and Finland it is considered masculine. In Sweden and Finland it is often used as a nickname for people with related (male) names such as Jan, Jean or Johan. The name's origins lie in the ancient Hebrew names Yohanah/Yohanan (feminine/masculine), meaning "Yahweh (God) is gracious". The name spread to Greece along with Christianity, and became Ioanna/Ioannes. Lene Grawford Nystrøm (born 2 October 1973) is a Norwegian musician and singer-songwriter who is the female lead vocalist of the Danish-Norwegian Eurodance group Aqua. Life and career 1973–1994: Early life Nystrøm was born in Tønsberg, Norway. When she was a teenager, she became interested in performing. She began modeling and also worked as a bartender.
