Casimiro De Abreu
Casimiro José Marques de Abreu (January 4, 1839 – October 18, 1860) was a Brazilian poet, novelist and playwright, adept of the "Ultra-Romanticism" movement. He is famous for the poem "Meus oito anos". He is patron of the 6th chair of the Brazilian Academy of Letters. José Joaquín Casimiro Olañeta y Güemes (1795–1860) was a nephew of Pedro Antonio Olañeta who, after working for him, turned against his uncle in favor of Bolivian independence. He faced criticism as being two-faced or Machiavellian, in part because the shift occurred in a matter of weeks. He went on to serve as an advisor to Antonio José de Sucre. Casimiro opposed his land being linked in a nation with Argentina. Olañeta was President of the Bolivian constituent assembly in 1826. Casimiro Radice (15 December 1834 – 1908) was an Italian painter. Biography Radice was born in Milan, Italy. He lived modestly managing a small hotel in the town of Galbiate end died poor. Was self-educated as a painter and painted interesting and graceful works of sacred and genre subjects, in both fresco and oil. In 1881, at the Milan Exhibition, he exhibited with good success ''La visita alla nutrice,'' admired by the public''.'' Antonio Casimiro Pinto de Oliveira (8 September 1907 – 22 November 1970) was a Portuguese racing driver. He was entered for the 1958 Portuguese Grand Prix but he was not present during the weekend. He was responsible for organizing the event. His brother was Manoel de Oliveira, a famed film director who managed to survive him by nearly 45 years. Career He began his career in motorsport before the Second World War, often driving with his brother, who briefly raced before starting his directing career. In 1937, he gained some attention by beating Tazio Nuvolari and Rudolf Hasse in a race at the Circuit International de Vila Real. Bugatti then appealed him to race at the Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix in 1938. He qualified last and eventually after a long race, finished fifth. He reached the rank of Marechal-do-ar, the highest rank of the Brazilian Air Force rank system. Casimiro Alegre (1741–1825) was an Argentine politician and military man, who had an outstanding participation during the Viceroyalty of Peru and Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata, serving as alcalde of campaign in the Province of Buenos Aires, and as Commandant in the Regiment of Blandengues of the Frontier of Buenos Aires. He participated in military expeditions against the Indians prior to the Desert Campaign of the 1830s. Casimiro Emérito Rosa Teles Jordão Monteiro (28 December 1920 – 25 January 1993), also known as Agente Monteiro, was a Goan covert operations military intelligence officer and law enforcement officer during the Estado Novo regime. He carried out state-sanctioned bombings and assassinations in Portugal, Mozambique and Goa. His actions were mostly focused against members of independence movements that existed in the Portuguese colonial empire.
