Cashmere Wright
Cashmere A'keem Wright (born January 9, 1990) is a former American professional basketball player. He played college basketball with the Cincinnati Bearcats men's basketball, Cincinnati Bearcats. Afterwards, he spent three seasons playing professionally in the Netherlands, Greece and Poland. College career Wright was named to the 2012 All- Big East Conference, Big East tournament team with the Cincinnati Bearcats after unranked Cincinnati knocked off #2 Syracuse in the semifinals at Madison Square Garden. The Bearcats beat 15 ranked teams with Cashmere at the point guard position over his career (2009–13). Wright wore number 1 and is the all-time leader in steals (198) for Cincinnati. Wright is also the only player in Cincinnati history to record at least 1300 points, 475 assists and 175 steals. The club competes in the BNXT League and its home arena is MartiniPlaza, which has a seating capacity of 4,350 people. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The Fort Wayne Mad Ants are an American professional basketball team of the NBA G League based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and are affiliated with the Indiana Pacers. Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season. The Halifax Rainmen were a professional basketball team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. They played in the Atlantic Division of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL) and their home games took place at the Scotiabank Centre, formerly known as the Halifax Metro Centre. The Greek Basket League (GBL), often also referred to as the Greek A1 Basketball League, or Greek Basketball Championship (originally called Panhellenic Basketball Championship), and also known as the Stoiximan Basket League for sponsorship reasons, is the first tier level professional basketball league in Greece.
