Cash In The Attic
''Cash in the Attic'' is a British television programme that aired on BBC One from 4 November 2002 to 24 May 2012. The programme's tagline was ''The show that helps you find hidden treasures in your home, and then sells them for you at auction''. The show was revived by Channel 5 in November 2021 for broadcast in 2022. Format In the show, the presenter visited a family's house to find out what they need to raise money for. They then explored the house and its surroundings, finding antiques and valuing them, with the help of experts. The family then goes to auction with the aim of making their financial target. The auction never takes place on the same day as the rummage; often it can take place several weeks later. Jules Hudson
Julian Harold Hudson (born 9 January 1970) is an English archaeologist, television producer and presenter, best known for presenting the BBC series ''Escape to the Country.'' He also frequently presents sections of the environmental documentary series ''Countryfile'' on BBC One. Early life Hudson was born in the town of Colchester, in Essex, in 1970. He is the son of Pam and Cliff Hudson. He was brought up in a Bed and Breakfast hotel run by his mother for 40 years, in the former village of Lexden, now a suburb of Colchester. His father was a mechanical engineer and a technical director at E H Bentall & Co in the large village of Heybridge in the Maldon District of Essex, frequently working abroad. The BBC Genome Project is an online searchable database of programme listings initially based upon the contents of the ''Radio Times'' from the first issue in 1923 to 2009. Television listings from post-2009 can be accessed via the BBC Programmes site. History Prior BBC Genome is not the first online searchable database. In April 2006, they gave the public access to Infax – their only electronic programme database at the time. It contained around 900,000 entries but not every programme ever broadcast, and it ceased operation in December 2007. The front page of the website is still available to see via the Internet Archive. Jonty Hearnden
Jonathan Philip "Jonty" Hearnden (born 1960 in Brentwood, Essex) is an English antiques expert and television presenter. Though born in London Road, Brentwood (his parents owned a toy shop and a gentlemen's outfitters in Shenfield until shortly after his birth), he was brought up in Dorchester-on-Thames in Oxfordshire. Paul William Hayes (born 4 August 1970) is an English antiques expert and television personality. Career Hayes began trading Dinky Toys from the age of six. Aged 19, he followed his father into the antiques business. His first sale was that of an old television. He has owned an antiques shop in his home town of Morecambe, Lancashire, since the early 1990s. He opened a new antiques showroom in Middleton in the summer of 2011.
