Cash Money Millionaires
The Cash Money Millionaires (also known as The Millionaires) were a supergroup of Cash Money recording artists from New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in 1996 and disbanded in 2001. The group was composed of the Big Tymer$ ( Birdman and Mannie Fresh) and the Hot Boy$ ( B.G., Juvenile, Lil Wayne and Turk). The Cash Money Millionaires went on numerous tours, including tours with the Ruff Ryders Ruff Ryders Entertainment is an American hip hop record label and management company founded by siblings and record executives Joaquin "Waah", Darin "Dee" and Chivon Dean. A supergroup is a musical group whose members are successful as solo artists or as members of other successful groups. The term became popular in the late 1960s when members of already successful rock groups recorded albums together, after which they normally disband. Charity supergroups, in which prominent musicians perform or record together in support of a particular cause, have been common since the 1980s.
