Casey Wasner (born 1983/1984) is an American singer, songwriter and musician from Northfield, Minnesota . He is the son of Craig and Linda Wasner who are also from southern Minnesota. Casey is one of many musicians in the Wasner family. Early life Wasner was born in Northfield, Minnesota to Craig and Linda Wasner. As a child he had a passion for music. He is a 2001 graduate of Northfield High School. Northfield, Minnesota
Northfield is a city in Dakota and Rice counties in the State of Minnesota. It is mostly in Rice County, with a small portion in Dakota County. The population was 20,790 at the 2020 census. History Northfield was platted in 1856 by John W. North. Local legend says that the town was named for John North and a Mr. Field. North, realizing that the town straddled the proposed northern border of Rice county, went to the state capital to lobby to move the border one mile north. Northfield was founded by settlers from New England known as "Yankees" as part of New England's colonization of what was then the far west. Northfield High School (NHS) is a comprehensive, public high school in Northfield, Minnesota, United States. The school was built in 1966, with additions in 1993 and 1997. The school hosts grades 9-12. As of 2020 there are 1,235 students and 146 faculty members. This includes the schools 85 teaching staff, administrative, custodial, kitchen, and special ed staff. Northfield High School is known to have a rich tradition in academic excellence.
