Casey Stern
Casey Stern (born October 17, 1978, in Massapequa, New York) is an American television personality and radio host who currently works for Turner Sports and Sirius XM Radio. Career Stern departed MLB.com's BaseballChannel.tv, formerly MLB Radio where he was most recently host of the Fantasy 411. On April 28, 2006, he began hosting a half-hour television show on the Baseball Channel on MLB.com called MLB.com Midday. Stern hosted "State of the RedSox.com Nation" on the Redsox.com until November 7. Peter McCarthy now hosts "State of the RedSox.com Nation". McCarthy took over from Stern on ''Under the Lights''. He also used to host ''Under the Lights'' on MLB Radio but left in November 2005 to pursue video at MLB.com. Stern is also a die-hard New York Mets fan and hosted "Next Stop Shea" on Mets.com. Massapequa, New York
Massapequa (, ) is a hamlet and census-designated place (CDP) in the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, on the South Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. It is considered the anchor community of the Greater Massapequa area. The population of the CDP was 21,685 at the time of the 2010 census. The Greater Massapequa area, which includes the nearby CDPs of North Massapequa and East Massapequa, as well as the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park, has a combined population of over 75,000. Seaford, New York
Seaford is a township in Nassau County, on the South Shore of Long Island, in New York, United States. The population was 15,294 at the 2010 census. Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of , of which is land and 0.38% is water. History The original settlers of Seaford were the Marsapeaques, a Native American Indian tribe. They called the area "Great Water Land." European settlement began with the arrival of Captain John Seaman, a native of Seaford, East Sussex, in England. After obtaining the patent for the area, Seaman oversaw the creation of Jerusalem South, the first European name given to the town which was to become Seaford. It was also widely referred to as Seaman's Neck. During the 19th century, as villages across Long Island started to grow (due to the creation of the Long Island Rail Road), the town of Jerusalem South seemed to be unaffected.
