Casey Legumina
Casey Davey Legumina (born June 19, 1997) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2023. Career Amateur career Legumina attended Basha High School in Gilbert, Arizona. He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 25th round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft, but did not sign and attended Gonzaga University, where he played college baseball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs. He was then drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 35th round of the 2018 MLB draft, but again did not sign and returned to Gonzaga. Minnesota Twins The Minnesota Twins selected Legumina in the eighth round, with the 239th overall selection, of the 2019 Major League Baseball draft, and he signed with the Twins. 2018 MLB Draft
The 2018 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft began on June 4, 2018. The draft assigned amateur baseball players to MLB teams. The draft order was determined based on the reverse order of the 2017 MLB season final standings.
