Estádio OlÃmpico Regional Arnaldo Busatto, sometimes nicknamed Ninho das Cobras (meaning ''Snake Nest'') is a multi-use stadium in Cascavel, Brazil. It is currently used mostly for football matches and hosts the home games of Cascavel Clube Recreativo and Futebol Clube Cascavel, and hosted the home games of Cascavel Esporte Clube. The stadium is able to hold 28,125 people, and was built in 1982. The stadium is owned by the Cascavel City Hall. Format The format has changed in 2014. 12 teams are together in a single group. They play against each other once, and the 8 best teams after the 11 games will play the knockout phase that teams will play against each other over two legs on a home-and-away basis. The 2020 Campeonato Paranaense (officially the Campeonato Paranaense de Futebol Profissional da 1ª Divisão - Temporada 2020) was the 106th edition of the top division of football in the state of Paraná organized by FPF. The competition started on 18 January and ended on 5 August. On 16 March 2020, FPF suspended the Campeonato Paranaense indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Brazil. Cascavel Esporte Clube, commonly known as Cascavel, was a Brazilian football club based in Cascavel, Paraná state that competed in the Série B and in the Série C twice. History The club was founded on December 19, 1979. Cascavel won the Campeonato Paranaense in 1980.
