Casa De Oro
Casa de Oro (Spanish for "House of Gold") is a neighborhood in east San Diego County, California, United States. The community, twelve miles east of San Diego, is in the unincorporated town of Spring Valley and an unincorporated part of La Mesa. The United States Census Bureau has also divided the neighborhood between two census-designated places (CDPs), Spring Valley CDP and Casa de Oro-Mount Helix CDP. Casa de Oro's main thoroughfare is Campo Road. Casa De Oro-Mount Helix, California
Casa de Oro-Mount Helix is a census-designated place (CDP) in the East County region of San Diego County, California. The CDP encompasses several unincorporated neighborhoods near the cities of El Cajon and La Mesa and the CDP of Spring Valley. Locations in the northern (Mount Helix) part of the CDP use La Mesa addresses, while locations in the southern (Casa de Oro) part use Spring Valley addresses. Informally, Casa de Oro is often considered to be a part of Spring Valley. The population was 18,762 at the 2010 census, down from 18,874 at the 2000 census. Spring Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in the East County region of San Diego County, California. The population was 28,205 at the 2010 census. From 1970 through 1990, Spring Valley included what is now the La Presa CDP to the south; La Presa is still popularly considered to be a part of Spring Valley. La Mesa, California
La Mesa () is a city in San Diego County, located east of Downtown San Diego in Southern California. The population was 61,121 at the 2020 census, up from 57,065 at the 2010 census. Its civic motto is "the Jewel of the Hills." History La Mesa in Spanish means "the table", or alternately "the plateau", relating to its geography.
