Daniel da Silva Carvalho (born 1 March 1983 in Jaguarão, Rio Grande do Sul), more commonly known as Daniel Carvalho, is a Brazilian football attacking midfielder for Pelotas. Career Club Carvalho started his career in his native state of Rio Grande do Sul at Sport Club Internacional before transferring to CSKA Moscow. In 2005, he became the first foreign player to be named Russian Footballer of the Year by ''Futbol'' and ''Sport-Express''. Ana Maria Carvalho is a Brazilian sociolinguist and a professor of linguistics within the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Arizona. Emanuel Nunes Carvalho (1771, London, England - 1817, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was an American Jewish religious leader and lexicographer. Career Emanuel Nunes Carvalho was born in London, England in 1771. In 1799, Carvalho, whose merchant father had emigrated from Portugal to Amsterdam to Britain, was hired as hazzan for the Jewish community in Bridgetown, Barbados. Evaristo do Espírito Santo Carvalho (22 October 1941 – 28 May 2022) was a São Toméan politician who served as the fourth president of São Tomé and Príncipe from 2016 to 2021. He was previously the prime minister of the country on two occasions.
