Carson Graham Secondary is a public high school in the city of North Vancouver, British Columbia and part of School District 44 North Vancouver. History The school opened September 15, 1965, and is named after Dr. Carson Graham. In 2009, Carson Graham only offered grades eleven and twelve because of the construction work being done. All of the grade eight, nine, and ten students were sent to Balmoral Secondary. Academics Carson Graham offers courses in a variety of subjects, including the humanities, sciences, language arts, business, fine arts and performing arts, engineering, leadership, and computer technology. Carson Graham is also an International Baccalaureate MYP and DP school. The International Baccalaureate (IB), formerly known as the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), is a nonprofit foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, and founded in 1968. Anthony Sedlak
Anthony Lawrence Sedlak (April 15, 1983 – July 4, 2012) was a Canadian chef and the host of Food Network Canada's ''The Main''. Early life and education Sedlak was born in Prince George, British Columbia and grew up in North Vancouver. At age 13, he began bussing at the Grouse Mountain cafeteria. Glen Suitor
Robert Glen Suitor (born November 24, 1962) is a Canadian sports broadcaster and retired football defensive back who played eleven seasons for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Currently, he broadcasts CFL games for TSN, which he has been doing since 1995. Suitor attended Carson Graham Secondary School. Football career In 1984, Suitor was drafted out of Simon Fraser University into the CFL with the 10th pick overall by the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Gregor Angus Bethune Robertson (born September 18, 1964) is a Canadian entrepreneur and a progressive politician, who served as the 39th mayor of Vancouver, British Columbia, from 2008 to 2018. Jerome Pathon (born December 16, 1975) is a South African-born Canadian American football coach and former wide receiver who played eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL). Karen Diane Magnussen, OC (born April 4, 1952) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. She is the 1972 Olympic silver medallist and 1973 World champion. Paris Jackson (born July 24, 1980) is a former professional Canadian football slotback who last played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League.
