Carsen Twarynski
Carsen Twarynski (born November 24, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing under contract with the Abbotsford Canucks in the American Hockey League (AHL). He played in the Western Hockey League for the Kelowna Rockets and Calgary Hitmen before being drafted by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Early life Twarynski was born on November 24, 1997, in St. Albert, Alberta, Canada to parents Kim and Rob. His older brother Brayden was also an athlete; he most recently played as a linebacker for the Saskatchewan Huskies. Playing career Junior Growing up in Alberta, Twarynski played with Calgary’s Bow Valley Hockey Association until he reached Atom level, in which he transferred to the Blackfoot Chiefs Minor Hockey Association Pee-Wee team for two years. The Coachella Valley Firebirds are a professional ice hockey expansion team based in Thousand Palms, California, that began play in the 2022–23 American Hockey League (AHL) season. The team is an owned-and-operated affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, which began play during the 2021–22 National Hockey League season. The Lethbridge Hurricanes are a Canadian major junior ice hockey team currently members of the Eastern Conference (Central Division) of the Western Hockey League (WHL). The team is based in Lethbridge, Alberta, and play their home games at the ENMAX Centre. History When the Lethbridge Broncos returned to their original home in Swift Current following the 1985–86 season, hockey fans in Lethbridge did not have to wait long for a new team; after just one year out of the WHL, Lethbridge returned to the WHL in 1987–88 when the Calgary Wranglers moved south to become the Hurricanes.
