Carrybridge
Carrybridge is a hamlet (place), hamlet in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, 8 km north-west of Lisnaskea and 11 km south-east of Enniskillen. It is situated in the townland of Aghnacarra in the Civil parishes in Ireland, civil parish of Derrybrusk and the historic barony (geographic), barony of Magherastephana. The hamlet is named from a bridge connecting the island of Inishmore, County Fermanagh, Inishmore in Lough Erne, Upper Lough Erne with the mainland. The bridge is named from the townland of Carry, County Fermanagh, Carry on the island, which name translates as 'causeway' or 'rocky ford', perhaps referring to a feature replaced by the bridge. It serves as a marina and boat hire centre. Killadeas
Killadeas () is a small village in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is about 7 miles north of Enniskillen near the shores of Lower Lough Erne, and is within Fermanagh and Omagh district. In the United Kingdom Census 2001, 2001 Census it had a population of 90 people. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) operates a lifeboat station on Lower Lough Erne at Killadeas. It works in conjunction with another lifeboat station on Upper Lough Erne at Carrybridge. Lough Erne
Lough Erne ( , ) is the name of two connected lakes in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is the second-biggest lake system in Northern Ireland and Ulster, and the fourth biggest in Ireland. The lakes are widened sections of the River Erne, which flows north and then curves west into the Atlantic. The smaller southern lake is called the Upper Lough as it is higher up the river. The bigger northern lake is called the Lower Lough or Broad Lough. The town of Enniskillen lies on the short stretch of river between the lakes. The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is the largest charity that saves lives at sea around the coasts of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man, as well as on some inland waterways.
