Carrie Vaughn
Carrie Vaughn (born January 28, 1973) is an American writer, the author of the urban fantasy '' Kitty Norville'' series. She has published more than 60 short stories in science fiction and fantasy magazines as well as short story anthologies and internet magazines. She is one of the authors for the "Wild Cards" books. Vaughn won the 2018 Philip K. Dick Award for ''Bannerless'', and has been nominated for the Hugo Awards. Career Vaughn graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Occidental College (during the course of which she also spent a year at the University of York) and later graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Master of Arts degree in English Literature. She lives in Boulder, Colorado. Vaughn's stories have received a number of mention credits in ''The Year's Best Science Fiction'', edited by Gardner Dozois and ''The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror'', edited by Ellen Datlow, Terry Windling, Kelly Link, and Gavin Grant. Occidental College
Occidental College (informally Oxy) is a private liberal arts college in Los Angeles, California. Founded in 1887 as a coeducational college by clergy and members of the Presbyterian Church, it became non-sectarian in 1910.
