Tod Bowman
Tod Bowman, (born March 29, 1965) is a Democratic Party of Iowa, Democratic politician and legislator from the state of Iowa. He was elected to the Iowa Senate in 2010. He represents District 29, which holds Clinton County, Iowa, Clinton, Dubuque County, Iowa, Dubuque, and Jackson County, Iowa, Jackson counties. Early life and education Bowman is a graduate of Maquoketa Community High School in 1983. Senator Bowman then enrolled at Luther College (Iowa), Luther College where he went to receive his Bachelor of Arts, B.A. in Social Sciences. Bowman later went on to attain a Master of Education from Western Illinois University. Dyersville, Iowa
Dyersville is a city in eastern Delaware County and western Dubuque County in the U.S. state of Iowa. It is part of the Dubuque, Iowa, Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 4,477 at the time of the 2020 census, up from 4,035 in 2000. History Dyersville was laid out in 1851. It was named for early landowner James Dyer (1820-1864). Dyer immigrated from Banwell, England and established a hotel, The Clarendon, in 1857. His sons, James Andrew Dyer with 6th Iowa Cavalry Regiment and Henry Andrew Dyer with 21st Iowa Infantry Regiment, served in the United States Civil War. ''Field of Dreams'' The 1989 movie ''Field of Dreams'' was filmed at a farm near Dyersville. The Iowa Senate is the upper house of the Iowa General Assembly, United States. There are 50 seats in the Iowa Senate, representing 50 single-member districts across the state of Iowa with populations of approximately 60,927 per constituency, . Each Senate district is composed of two House districts. The Senate meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines. Unlike the lower house, the Iowa House of Representatives, Senators serve four-year terms, with no term limits. Terms are staggered so that half the Senate is up for reelection every two years. Rob Hogg
Robert Mason Hogg (born January 24, 1967) is the Iowa State Senator from the 33rd District. A Democrat, he has served in the Iowa Senate since 2007 after having served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. He ran in the Democratic primary for the 2016 United States Senate election in Iowa, but he lost to former Iowa Lieutenant Governor Patty Judge.
