Caroline Ryan
Caroline Ryan (born 10 October 1979) is an Irish former rower, and racing cyclist. Ryan won the bronze medal in the women's points race at the 2012 UCI Track Cycling World Championships, Ireland's first medal at a senior track cycling world championship since Harry Reynolds took gold in 1896 and bronze in 1897. Ryan won the time trial at the Irish National Cycling Championships three times (2011, 2013 & 2014). 2015 UEC European Track Championships
The 2015 UEC European Track Championships was the sixth edition of the elite UEC European Track Championships in track cycling and took place at the Velodrome Suisse in Grenchen, Switzerland, between 14 and 18 October. The Event was organised by the European Cycling Union. All European champions are awarded the UEC European Champion jersey which may be worn by the champion throughout the year when competing in the same event at other competitions. The Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics#Track cycling, 10 Olympic events (sprint, team sprint, team pursuit, keirin and omnium for men and women), as well as 11 other events are on the program for these European Championships. Rás Na MBan
Rás na mBan is an international stage cycle road race for women in Ireland. It was first run in 2006 and has run annually since. The event began as a two-day race based in Dublin and became a three-day event in 2008 when it moved to a new base in Sneem, County Kerry. A further two days were added in 2011 when it became a five-day race with six stages. The race was based in County Clare from 2013 to 2015. The race then moved to Kilkenny in 2016. Sinéad Lynch
Sinéad Lynch (born 30 September 1976; née Jennings; in Letterkenny, County Donegal) is an Irish rower. She is a member of St Michael's Rowing Club. In August 2015 she was a member of the lightweight women's double scull which qualified the boat for the Rio Olympics. Lynch and her rowing partner Claire Lambe reached the finals at the Women's lightweight double sculls, but did not win a medal. Personal life The daughter of Garda Michael Jennings (a native of the West of Ireland) and his wife Theresa, Sinéad was raised at Hawthorn Heights in Letterkenny. Her sister is Caitriona Jennings. She studied Pharmacy at university in Edinburgh and later competed Medical studies at the University of Limerick.
