Caroline Kastor
Caroline Allison Kastor (born October 12, 1991) is an American retired soccer player, who played for FC Kansas City in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Early life Caroline is the youngest of five children to parents Tina Bennett-Kastor and Frank Kastor. She attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School in Wichita, Kansas, where she played on the varsity soccer team for four years and scored 108 goals with 37 assists. Kastor was named to the first team all-state, all-region, all-metro and all-city during her junior and senior years. She was named the team's Offensive Player of the Year the same years. Kastor played club soccer for the Wichita Tigers, River City Lady Tigers and River City Fire. She played for the state Olympic Development Program (ODP) regional ODP teams. 2015 National Women's Soccer League Season
The 2015 National Women's Soccer League season was the third season of the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. Including the NWSL's two professional predecessors, Women's Professional Soccer (2009–2011) and the Women's United Soccer Association (2001–2003), it was the ninth overall season of FIFA and USSF-sanctioned top division women's soccer in the United States. The league is operated by the United States Soccer Federation and receives major financial backing from that body. Further financial backing is expected to be provided by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Mexican Football Federation. NWSL Playoffs
The National Women's Soccer League Playoffs (or NWSL Playoffs) are a single elimination tournament among six teams in the National Women's Soccer League of the United States, deciding the winner of the NWSL Championship. Since playoff games cannot end in ties, those are broken by two straight 15-minute extra time periods, followed by shootouts of best-of-five rounds plus extra rounds as required. FC Dallas is an American professional soccer club based in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. The club competes as a member of the Western Conference in Major League Soccer (MLS). The franchise began play in 1996 as a charter club of the league. The club was founded in 1995 as the Dallas Burn before adopting its current name in 2004. The Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is an amateur women's soccer league in the United States and Canada. It is the top amateur league for women's soccer in the United States soccer pyramid, below only National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
