Caroline Drouin
Caroline Drouin (born 7 July 1996) is a French rugby union player. Rugby career Drouin was part of France's squad that placed third at the 2017 Rugby World Cup. In 2018, Her first-half try in the 18–17 victory over England played a crucial role in France winning the Six Nations Championship. Drouin was instrumental for France in the Final Olympic Qualification Tournament as she scored a try and successfully made seven conversions to help them claim one of two available spots for the Tokyo Olympics. Her side eventually reached the Gold medal final but lost to New Zealand 26–12. Drouin played for France in the 2021 Women's Six Nations Championship. She started at fly-half in the Six Nations final against England. Auray
Auray (; br, An Alre, or simply ) is a commune in the Morbihan department, administrative region of Brittany, northwestern France. Inhabitants of Auray are called ''Alréens'' (French) and ''Alreiz'' (Breton). 2021 Rugby World Cup
The 2021 Rugby World Cup was the ninth staging of the women's Rugby World Cup, as organised by World Rugby. It was held from 8 October to 12 November 2022 in Auckland and Whangārei, New Zealand. It was originally scheduled to be held in 2021, but was postponed by one year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first women's Rugby World Cup to be hosted by New Zealand, and by a country in the Southern Hemisphere. New Zealand were also the defending champions. The tournament introduced changes such as replacement of classification play-offs in the knockout stage with quarter-finals, and a longer scheduling window with at least five days between matches.
