Carolina Padrón
Carolina Desireé José Padrón Ríos (born March 20, 1983) is a Venezuelan sportscaster, journalist and television host currently working for ESPN Deportes and ESPN Mexico. Padrón is the co-anchor of ESPN's Spanish version of ''SportsCenter'' and also has covered sporting events such as the FIFA World Cup and the Summer Olympics. Career Padrón has a degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Santa Maria and earned a Masters in Journalism from CEU San Pablo University in Spain through a grant from the Fundacion Carolina. Padrón started her career in 2006 as an intern for ''Radio Marca'' of Madrid, Spain which was also made possible by the grant from the Fundacion Carolina. This is ''SportsCenter'' is a series of comical television commercials run by ESPN to promote their ''SportsCenter'' sports news show that debuted in 1995, based on the show's opening tagline. The Mexican Open (currently sponsored by Telcel and HSBC and called the Abierto Mexicano Telcel presented by HSBC) is a men's professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts, and usually held annually in late February at the Arena GNP Seguros since 2022 and previously at the Fairmont Acapulco Princess, both in Acapulco, Mexico. The World Baseball Classic (WBC) is an international baseball tournament sanctioned from 2006 to 2013 by the International Baseball Federation (IBAF) and after 2013 by World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) in partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB).
