Carol Roux
Carol Roux is an American actress who was an original cast member of '' Another World'' (appearing from 1964-1968 and again from 1969-1970). She was involved in one of the show's first major storylines. Melissa "Missy" Palmer (Roux) and Bill Matthews ( Joseph Gallison) were a young couple in love, but in true soap opera fashion, their road to happiness had numerous hurdles, many the result of the interference of Bill's conniving mother Liz Matthews ( Audra Lindley). The two were finally married and the characters left town. But their happiness was short-lived, as Bill was later drowned in a boating accident off screen. Joseph Gallison
Joseph Gallison is an American actor who worked on television soap operas for twenty-seven years. He is probably best known for his role as Dr. Neil Curtis on ''Days of Our Lives'' (1974-1991). Early years Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Gallison attended the United States Military Academy until an injury to his back led to his discharge from the Army. He then transferred to Northeastern University. Career Gallison is well known for playing the character of William (Bill) Matthews, Jr., on '' Another World'' (1964-1969). Other soap opera roles have included Tom Edwards on ''One Life to Live'' (1969-1971) and Steven Cord on ''Return to Peyton Place'' (1972-1974). Audra Marie Lindley (September 24, 1918 – October 16, 1997) was an American actress, most famous for her role as landlady Helen Roper on the sitcom ''Three's Company'' and its spin-off ''The Ropers''. Life and career Audra Lindley was born into Los Angeles show business. Her father, Bert Lindley, was a film and stage actor. Lindley got her Hollywood start as a stand-in. This progressed to stunt work, and she eventually became a contract player with Warner Bros. In 1943, she went to New York in her mid-20s to work in theater. Among her many Broadway plays during her long career were: '' On Golden Pond'', '' Long Day's Journey into Night'', and ''Horse Heavens''. ''Somerset'' (sometimes called ''Another World in Somerset'' or ''Another World: Somerset'') is an American television soap opera which ran on NBC from March 30, 1970, until December 31, 1976. The show was a spin-off of another NBC serial, '' Another World''. The show was created by Robert Cenedella and was produced by Lyle B Hill.
