Carmen Guarini
Aurelia Del Carmen Guarini (born 18 January 1953) is an Argentine anthropologist, teacher, film director, and film producer specializing in anthropological documentary films.{{sfn, Mor, 2012, p=154 She teaches visual anthropology and directs documentaries in Argentina ( Fundación Universidad del Cine; University of Buenos Aires; Observatorio Escuela de Cine Documental) and in Cuba. Documentary Film
A documentary film or documentary is a non-fictional film, motion-picture intended to "document reality, primarily for the purposes of instruction, education or maintaining a Recorded history, historical record". Bill Nichols (film critic), Bill Nichols has characterized the documentary in terms of "a filmmaking practice, a cinematic tradition, and mode of audience reception [that remains] a practice without clear boundaries". Early documentary films, originally called "actuality films", lasted one minute or less. Over time, documentaries have evolved to become longer in length, and to include more categories. Some examples are Educational film, educational, observational and docufiction. Documentaries are very Informational listening, informative, and are often used within schools as a resource to teach various principles.
