Carmen Andreea Amariei (formerly Lungu; born September 3rd 1978) was a retired Romanian handballer. She participated at the 2008 Summer Olympics in China, where the Romanian national team placed seventh. Personal life Amariei was born in Cluj Napoca on 3 September 1978. The Women's EHF Champions League is the competition for the top women's handball clubs in Europe, organised annually by the European Handball Federation (EHF). It is the most prestigious tournament for clubs, with the champions of Europe's top national leagues participating.
