Carmella Cammeniti
Carmella Cammeniti (also Silvani and Sister Mary Catherine) is a fictional character from the Australian Network Ten soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Natalie Blair. She appeared on a recurring basis from 2003–2005, then became a main character from 2006–2008, before making a final guest appearance in 2011. Carmella was created as a replacement for Nina Tucker, portrayed by Delta Goodrem, who was written out of the series when Goodrem became ill. Her early storylines, including a romance with Connor O'Neill ( Patrick Harvey), were originally intended for Nina. The daughter of a protective gangster father, Carmella was initially a "fun, feisty" character. Natalie Blair
Natalie Louise Blair (born 16 April 1984) is an Australian actress, best known for her role as Carmella Cammeniti on the Australian television series ''Neighbours''. Personal life Blair was born to John Blair on 16 April 1984 and raised in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. Career Back in early 2003, Blair auditioned for ''Neighbours'' and impressed casting director Jan Russ, but she was not cast. Russ contacted Blair six months later and asked her to audition for the role of Carmella Cammeniti. She was cast on the spot as producers needed to fill the gap left by Delta Goodrem's sudden departure. Blair started filming just after she graduated from school. In 2005, Blair won "Most Popular New Female Talent" at the 47th Annual Logie Awards. Connor O'Neill
Connor O'Neill is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Patrick Harvey. He made his first screen appearance during the episode on 19 April 2002. Harvey was still in school when he won the role of Connor. He initially auditioned using an Australian accent, but later re-read for the part in his natural Northern Irish accent. The producers decided this would suit the role of Connor better. Kate Keltie (born 23 February 1986) is an Australian former actress, best known for her role as Michelle Scully in the Australian television soap opera drama ''Neighbours''. Biography Keltie was born in Melbourne. She appeared in a number of television commercials and undertook drama, dance and voice training. Erinsborough is the fictional suburb where the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'' is set. The show focuses on the domestic and professional lives of the people who live and work in the suburb. ''Neighbours'' storylines primarily centre on the residents of Ramsay Street within other Erinsborough locations, namely The Waterhole, Harold's Café, Lassiters Hotel, Erinsborough High School and Erinsborough Hospital.
