Bart Carlton
Milas Barton Carlton (February 6, 1908 – October 12, 1993) was an standout American college basketball player at Ada Teachers College (later named East Central University) in Ada, Oklahoma during the early 1930s. He was a two-time All-American in 1930 and 1931 while playing with the Ada Tigers. In 1944, the Helms Athletic Foundation also retroactively named Carlton the Helms National Player of the Year for the 1930–31 season despite his having never been a consensus All-American, giving him the odd distinction as the only national player of the year since consensus voting began in the 1928–29 season who was never a consensus All-American. Carlton Davis III (born December 31, 1996) is an American football cornerback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Auburn and was drafted by the Buccaneers in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Carlton Skinner (April 8, 1913 – September 2, 2004) was the first civilian governor of Guam and a prominent advocate for the integration of the United States Armed Forces. President Harry Truman appointed Skinner governor in 1949, after the United States Navy ceded control of the island to the Department of the Interior. Life and education Skinner was born in Palo Alto, California, to parents Macy Millmore Skinner (1871–1964) and Marian Weymouth Junkins (1880–1966). Carlton Lloyd Palmer (born 5 December 1965) is an English football manager, former footballer and football television pundit whose last management role was as manager of Grantham Town. As a player, he was a midfielder from 1984 to 2005, playing in the Premier League for Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United, Southampton, Nottingham Forest and Coventry City. Carlton Lee Haselrig (January 22, 1966 – July 22, 2020) was an American heavyweight wrestler and NFL player. Haselrig wrestled for University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. He is the only person to win six NCAA titles in wrestling, three times in Division II and three times in Division I. Carlton Gary
Carlton Michael Gary (September 24, 1950 – March 15, 2018) was an American serial killer who murdered three elderly women in Columbus, Georgia, and one in Syracuse, New York, between 1975 and 1978, though he is suspected of at least four more killings. Gary was arrested in December 1978 for an armed robbery and sentenced to 21 years in prison. He escaped from custody in 1983 and was caught a year later. Evidence was found linking him to the earlier murders and he was convicted and sentenced to death in August 1986. He was executed by lethal injection on March 15, 2018.
