Carlos Weber
Carlos Javier Weber (born 6 January 1966) is an Argentine professional volleyball coach and former player, a former member of the Argentina national team. Weber represented his native country in 3 Olympic Games in: Seoul 1988 (bronze medal), Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000, and took part in five World Championship editions (1986, 1990, 1994, 1998, 2002). He currently serves as head coach for the Polish PlusLiga team, Indykpol AZS Olsztyn. Personal life Javier Weber was born in Buenos Aires. He began playing volleyball at the age of 16 in the local club, River Plate. Weber has a son named Martín, who is also a volleyball player. FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship
The FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship is an international volleyball competition contested by the senior men's national teams of the members of ' (FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The initial gap between championships was variable, but since 1962 they have been held every four years. The current champion is Italy, who won their fourth title at the 2022 tournament, defeating Poland in the final. The current format of the competition involves a qualification phase, which currently takes place over the preceding three years, to determine which teams qualify for the tournament phase, which is often called the ''World Championship Finals''. The 2013 Men's South American Volleyball Championship was the 30th edition of the tournament, organised by CSV. It was held in Cabo Frio, Brazil from 6 to 10 August 2013.
