Carlos Quintana (born November 6, 1976) is a retired Puerto Rican professional boxer. As an amateur Quintana represented Puerto Rico. He debuted as a professional in 1997. On February 24, 2006, he participated in his first professional championship fight, defeating Raul Bejerano for the World Boxing Organization's Latino welterweight championship. His first defense took place on June 24, 2006 when he defeated Joel Julio by unanimous decision in a welterweight title eliminator. In this fight he also won the World Boxing Council's Latino welterweight championship. His first world title fight took place on December 2, 2006, when he fought against Miguel Cotto for the World Boxing Association welterweight title. Cotto won the fight by technical knockout. On February 9, 2008, Quintana challenged Paul Williams for the WBO welterweight championship, winning the fight by unanimous decision. Princess Alexia of Greece and Denmark ( el, Αλεξία; born 10 July 1965) is a Greek princess and educator. She is the eldest child of Constantine II and Anne-Marie of Denmark, who were King and Queen of Greece from 1964 until the abolition of the monarchy in 1973. She was heiress presumptive to the Greek throne from her birth in 1965 until the birth of her brother Crown Prince Pavlos in 1967. Early life Alexia was born on 10 July 1965 at Mon Repos, a villa on the Greek island of Corfu used at the time as a summer residence by the Greek royal family. She was the first child born to the then King Constantine II and Queen Anne-Marie of the Hellenes. At the time of her birth, her father was King of Greece, her grandfather was King of Denmark, and her great-grandfather was King of Sweden. Carlos Narciso Quintana Hernandez (born August 26, 1965) is a former Major League Baseball player who played for the Boston Red Sox from 1988 to 1993. Professional career Quintana was signed by the Red Sox in 1984 as an undrafted free agent. Over the next four years he worked his way up the Red Sox Minor league baseball, minor league system playing for Elmira Pioneers, Elmira, Greensboro, New Britain and Pawtucket Red Sox, Pawtucket. He made his first appearance for the Red Sox on September 16, 1988. He split 1989 season between Pawtucket and Boston, and was named the full-time first baseman during spring training in 1990, beating out Bill Buckner for the job. Over the next two seasons Quintana earned a reputation as an outstanding defensive first baseman and an intelligent batter who maintained a high on-base percentage, albeit without much power or speed.
