Carlos Pérez (handballer)
Carlos Pérez (born 26 August 1971 in Havana) is a retired Cuban-Hungary, Hungarian team handball, handball player, who played for Veszprém KC and the Hungary men's national handball team, Hungarian national team. Career He was born in Havana and spent his Cuban years by local team Ciudad Havana. He signed to Hungarian top club MKB Veszprém KC in 1997 and since then spent all the seasons with the club. He obtained Hungarian citizenship in 1999 and made his debut for the national team in 2002 against Slovenia men's national handball team, Slovenia. He represented Hungary at the 2003 World Men's Handball Championship, 2003 World Championship, where he showed his exceptional shooting skills and finished first on the goalscoring charts with 64 goals. Lajos Mocsai
Lajos Mocsai (; born 10 March 1954) is a former Hungarian international handball player, coach, university professor and sports director. Mocsai worked as the head coach of MKB Veszprém KC since his appointment in 2007, and beside his club team duties, he also served as the technical director of the Hungarian men's national team from February 2010, before taking over the head coach position from István Csoknyai. In the summer of 2012 Mocsai resigned from the coaching position of Veszprém to fully concentrate on his work by the national team. Two years later he resigned from the national team as well, to make himself clear for the rector position of the in Budapest. The IHF Men's Handball World Championship has been organized indoor by the International Handball Federation since 1938. In the twenty-seven tournaments held, eleven nations have won the title. The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. Magyar Kupa (English: Hungarian Cup) is the main domestic cup for Hungarian men's team handball clubs, which is organized and supervised by the Hungarian Handball Federation. The competition is held annually, starting in September and concluding in April. The teams play in a one-leg knockout system with a final four tournament in the end.
