Carlos Javier Delgado Rodríguez (; born 22 April 1990) is a Spanish professional association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Indian Super League club Odisha FC, Odisha. Club career Early years and Sparta Born in Puerto Real, Province of Cádiz, Cádiz, Andalusia, Delgado joined Málaga CF's youth system at the age of 15. In early 2008, he rejected a new contract and went on trial with Eredivisie club Sparta Rotterdam, finally signing in January 2009 but failing to make a single appearance, subsequently returning to his country and joining Real Valladolid, who assigned the player to Real Valladolid Promesas, their reserves. In summer 2010, Delgado signed with another reserve team, UD Almería B. In January of the following year, after playing only five matches in the Segunda División B, he returned to the Netherlands and Sparta on loan. The Indian Super League (ISL) is an Indian professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the Indian football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. Organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), and their commercial partners Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), it is officially known as Hero Indian Super League for sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp. RBC, commonly known under its previous official name RBC Roosendaal, is a football club based in Roosendaal, Netherlands. The Eerste Divisie (, en, First Division) is the second-highest tier of football in the Netherlands. It is linked with the top-level Eredivisie and with the third-level Tweede Divisie via promotion/relegation systems. It is also known as the Keuken Kampioen Divisie due to sponsorship, while previously it was known as Jupiler League for the same reason. Segunda División B ( en, Second Division B) was the third tier of the Spanish football league system containing 102 teams divided into five groups, until it was replaced by the new structure in 2021. It was administered by the Royal Spanish Football Federation.
