Carlos Contreras (racing Driver)
Carlos Contreras (born June 8, 1970) is a Mexican professional stock car racing driver and crew chief. He was the first Mexico-born driver racing full-time in any NASCAR national series. He has competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series. NASCAR career Xfinity Series Contreras made his first Busch Series attempt in 2002 with the Hispanic Racing Team. Driving the No. 09 Chevrolet at Homestead-Miami he was unable to break into the field. He would his debut in 2003 with Jay Robinson Racing. At California Speedway, Contreras put the No. 49 Ford in the field and finished in the 26th position. He also made one start for Innovative Motorsports at Homestead-Miami. Road America
Road America is a motorsport road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, United States on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has hosted races since the 1950s and currently hosts races in the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, IndyCar Series, SCCA Pirelli World Challenge, ASRA, AMA Superbike series, and SCCA Pro Racing's Trans-Am Series. NASCAR will replace Road America with street racing through Downtown Chicago starting in 2023. Current track and facilities Road America is a permanent road course. EcoCentro Expositor Querétaro
The EcoCentro Expositor Querétaro is an exposition center located in El Marqués, Quéretaro, near Santiago de Querétaro. Ecocentro was opened in 2001 by then president Vicente Fox. Currently the Querétaro fair is held every year in November, and the El Marqués fair is held in May. Features Ecocentro has an arena, a racetrack including an oval and a karting track. Innovative Motorsports
Innovative Motorsports (IMI) is a former NASCAR team. It was owned by George DeBidart and began racing in the Busch North Series in the mid-1990s, before moving to the Busch Series in 1998. Winston Cup Innovative ran four Cup races during its tenure. Using the No. 98 Chevy purchased from Michael Waltrip Racing, Kenny Wallace ran the Pepsi 400, the Tropicana 400, the Brickyard 400, and the Sirius at the Glen. His best finish was 29th. In motorsports, a pit stop is a pause for refuelling, new tyres, repairs, mechanical adjustments, a driver change, as a penalty, or any combination of the above. These stops occur in an area called the pits, most commonly accessed via a pit lane which runs parallel to the start/finish straightaway of the track and is connected to it at each end. Along this lane is a row of garages (typically one per team or car) outside which the work is done in a ''pit box''.
