Carlos Alberto Castro Herrera (born 17 August 1970) is a Colombian former professional association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), striker. Playing career Castro is the third player with the most games played in the Colombian Liga Dimayor since its restructuring in 1991. He is regarded as one of the best-performing strikers to play for Colombian side Millonarios F.C., Millonarios during the 2000–2010 years. Altogether, during his playing career, he won the Inter-American Cup, the Merconorte Cup and the Colombian league, and was Colombian league top scorer twice. Carlos António Castro (5 October 1945 – 7 January 2011) was a Portuguese television personality and journalist who, for over 35 years, covered mainly gossip items about musicians, actors, and celebrities. He became well known after he came out on television and participated in Big Show SIC, presented by João Baião, in the 1990s. On 7 January 2011, Castro was found castrated and bludgeoned to death in a New York City hotel. The main suspect in his death was his boyfriend, 21-year-old male model Renato Seabra, who had been a contestant on the Portuguese television modelling-themed reality show ''À Procura do Sonho'' (SIC). In January 2011, Renato Seabra was charged with second-degree murder by the New York City Police Department (NYPD) after confessing to the killing of Castro. Carlos Salazar Castro (1800 in San Salvador, El Salvador – July 23, 1867 in San José, Costa Rica) was a Central American military officer and Liberal politician. Briefly in 1834 he was provisional president of El Salvador, and in 1839 he was provisional president of Guatemala. He was born in 1800 in El Salvador to Gregorio Salazar and Francisca Castro y Lara. His father was interim president of the Federal Republic of Central America from September 16, 1834 to February 14, 1835. Salazar was sent at age 12 to Guatemala to study humanities at the Colegio Tridentino. He graduated from secondary school in 1817 and returned to El Salvador, where he dedicated himself to commerce and to tending the estates of his family. He also joined the independence movement.
